Annual Exhibition

Our annual opportunity to show our work to the local populace in a 2 day exhibition in the Free Church.

India – North and South – Dave & Lynn Cole

Club members Dave and Lynne will be  showing and talking about images of their 2016 & 2017 trips to North & South India.
This will be a varied collection of photos showing Architecture, street/people, an eclectic mix of transportation and more.

Architecture: Exposure to Edit – Richard O’Brien

In this talk Richard will talk about the kind of images he takes and what he looks for when shooting both internal and external architecture.

He’ll start by talking about the gear he uses and why he uses it, and then cover some of the very simple tricks he uses to help him ‘get the shot’, especially in crowded locations, showing some of his work.
In the second half of the talk, Richard will do a live demonstration (questions welcome) editing some of the images using a combination of Lightroom Classic and Photoshop CC.

Portraits of the Lake District – Hemant Jariwala

Tonight we’ll be hearing from a speaker new to the club, Hemant Jariwala, to show us and talk about his photographs of the Lake District including IR landscape photography.
He is an award-winning photographer who specialises in botanical, garden and landscape photography.
His images are regularly published in popular photography & garden life-style magazines, greeting cards, calendars and books, all around the world.
In 1993, he won the prestigious UK Practical Photography magazine – ‘Photographer of the Year’.
