Thank you to all the entering and attending clubs – without you this event couldn’t happen.

Congratulations to the award winning clubs and individuals:

Please see our “Interprint” page for full scores and information.

Feb 15th – EAF PDI Championship
23 of the 94 EAF clubs entered. The standard was very high and marking tough. We didn’t do so well coming 19th. Nicky Copes Baboon image was our highest mark at 13/15. Our total score was 152 from 15 images. Top score was 188.
The top 10 clubs went forward to a second round where PICO came out on top, Beyond were runners up followed by Cambridge and Colchester. All now qualify to represent the EAF at the PAGB DPI championships.
Full results are available on the EAF website here.

Jan 24th – Cambridge Camera Club Digital Competition
From the 29 clubs present we ranked 9th with 88/100.
Winners were Ware (96) joint runners up Norwich and North Norfolk (95).
Gary’s Marine Iguana with Lava Lizards got a max 20.
Ware’s monochrome image won the best overall DPI.

Dec 3rd – 4-Way Battle
Ely Photographic Club hosted a 4-way battle between ourselves, St Neots & Swavesey photographic clubs. It was a very close competition, judged by Naomi Saul, with the final scores:
Ely won with a score of 295,
SIPC came a close second with 294,
Swavesey and St Neots scored 288.
Congratulations to Ely, and we look forward to a return battle next year!

Nov 2nd – Annual Exhibition
Thank you to everyone who visited our annual exhibition over the last two days, and to all the club members who helped run, setup, take down or just exhibited.

The top three prints in the public vote were:

3rd – Ivan Barrett with Red Squirrel (45 points)
2nd – Steve Laws with Rydal Boathouse (54 points)
1st – Gary Dean with Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda (56 points)

Oct 7th – Themed Friendly with Swavesey Camera Club
Our normal open competition against Swavesey was replaced by a light-hearted “Mix and Match” competition, judged by Richard Houghton. It took a little while to get started, but once underway, it was a lot of fun.
Each club presented an image, which the other team had to match with one of their own. Richard quickly decided whether or not a match was awarded, and then chose the best image from a matched pair. I don’t think I’ve been to a competition night where there was so much laughter in the room – definitely a fun format which we will use again!
St Ives finished 4 points ahead of Swavesey, but the score couldn’t have mattered less!
