2nd May – Annual Awards Dinner

To celebrate the successes of the 2024-2025 Winter Season, our Annual Awards Dinner was held at St.Ives Golf Club on Friday 2nd May.

A great evening was had by all who attended and we are now looking forward to our Summer season.

3rd April – A45 Competition

The A45 hosted by Bury St Edmunds Photographic Society and judged this year by Nick Akers ARPS BPE3 was held on 3rd April with 8 clubs participating entering 7 DPI’s each.

After a very close competition the results were as follows:

16th March – EAF Print Championship

Congratulations to SIPC member Tom Lane who won the award for Best Print of the Championship, with “Winter in Yosemite” at the EAF Print Championship.
Tom received his award in person from Roger Reynolds HonFRPS APAGB FBPPA FBPE, one of the judges on the day.

2nd March – Interprint Results

Another successful Interprint Exhibition and Competition took place on 1st March with 21 clubs competing, and Judging by David Smith David Smith, LRPS CPAGB BPE1*.

It was excellent to see so many people attending the exhibition and judges comments session in the evening, for what was a very enjoyable day. We were especially pleased that Daphne Hanson DPAGB, HonPAGB was able to present the PAGB Medals and Ribbons in her role as President of the PAGB.
 

28th February – Interprint Setup

Thanks to all our members who helped setup the Interprint Exhibition ready for tomorrow, we can’t wait to open the doors in the morning!

16th February – EAF PDI Championships

On Sunday 16th February the EAF PDI Championships took place at Fulborn, here are the scores:

9th February – Interprint Entry Deadlines

The last day for PDI upload into PhotoEntry was 2nd February 2025.
The deadline for receipt of print entries is 16th February 2025 (a club representative will be at the EAF AGM and PDI Championship to accept pre-arranged entries).

Congratulations to Bishops Stortford Camera Club

16th January – Swavesey Friendly Competition

On Thursday evening (16th January) our annual Friendly competition with Swavesey Camera Club took place at Swavesey Village College. The judge was Sarah Rossouw from Cambridge on her first outing as a judge.
As always with Swavesey it was a close competition between the two clubs, but on this occasion Swavesey took the win.

Thanks to Swavesey for hosting and we look forward to next years competition!
