I will explain how I got some of the images and the challenges of photography in the rainforest.

So many people say that they wish they had ideas, stories to illustrate and were creative. This presentation guides you to examine your own experiences and preferences to draw on in creating unique images..... The second half demonstrates a number of editing techniques such as textures, overlays, colour grading and composites, opening that door to creative expression and image creation.
Jane works on the same image in 3 different ways to show how to create emotion and narrative within your work.

Print Evening
We have unfortunately been informed by the Free church that they have a booking clash on 7th March when we planned to hold our Print Night.
After looking at a number of unsuitable alternatives we have taken the difficult decision to cancel the meeting.
We will now present the prints at the March Monthly Competition on 21st March and ask the Judge to provide Critique (no scores) of the prints after judging the competition.
For those of you wanting help mounting your print, we will have experienced members available before the meeting starts from 19:30 to demonstrate and assist.Thank you to those who have entered, and we look forward to seeing the mounted prints on 21st March.

My 'Getting It Right In Camera’ (GIRIC) session will include an initial open discussion with the members to collectively arrive at what is thought to meet these requirements when capturing images. It will be quite interactive without a slide show. After the break the remainder of the time will be spent getting members to try out the ‘agreed’ theory and put this into practice!Naturally, you should advise the members to bring their camera (brush the dust off it) and ensure a charged battery and space on a memory card, plus a tripod for use during the evening -
