    Frinton and Walton trip (Nicky)

9:00 amFrinton On Sea - details will be sent to participants

Nicky has arranged to host the Frinton / Walton outing again this year. We will be on the beach in the morning finding all kinds of photo opportunities.  There is a boat trip in the afternoon to see the seals in the Naze backwaters but unfortunately there are now no places left on the boat.  Those not on the boat will be able to do coastal photography instead.  The day will be based as usual around Nicky's family house on the seafront.  Croissants and coffee will be provided on arrival.  Please bring your lunch.  Please see Nicky if you would like to be included in the trip.

SIPC Millennium Photo Show + Introduction of Edit Challenge

    8:00 pmSt Ives Free Church

We will be looking at the images taken by our members for the Millennium.  It will be interesting to see how much change there has been in the last 26 years!

We will also be introducing the Edit Challenge.  Members will be given an image, which we will all go away and edit it with our own ideas.  We will look at  the results on 10th November.   To help with this, on 15th September there will be a post processing night - stations around the room will help with Photoshop, Lightroom and BeFunky editing - and possibly Affinity (tuition will depend on the specific expertise of members who are willing to share their knowledge).
