Towards PAGB distinctions – Vic Hainsworth

Vic starts by explaining how to apply and then the procedure for the accreditations, then how and when the adjudication is done.
He has a live power-point presentation thanks to an applicant who did her “CPAGB” then followed with her “DPAGB” using some, but not all, her Credit images in the Distinction.
After the break Vic shows a selection of successes to give members a taste of what is required.

Competition – Monthly 1 – Colin Mill

The Monthly competition for Printed and Digitally Projected Images is run over the indoor programme period (September to April) – and consists of six monthly (September, October, November and January February, March) competitions for both printed and digitally projected images with each month’s entries being marked by an external judge.

Equipment Night

Brand Advice
Do you want to understand a feature on your Canon, or find a menu on your Nikon, or would you like to share something about your Olympus or tell us about Sony – an evening of brand specific help and advice.

Preloved Gear
Buy or sell pre-loved camera gear.  Bring along any items you no longer use, from cameras and lenses to bags, straps and accessories.  Label each item with a price and your name.
There will be plenty of opportunity to browse the items on sale and to chat to the owners about the kit.  This is a great chance to learn about the pre-loved items on sale before making the decision to purchase, and to streamline your kit by selling items which are taking up cupboard space at home!
